Golden Bell Backpacker Hostel - NINH BINH

I had a wonderful stay at Golden Bell Backpacker. The hosts, Bach and Thuy, were warm and cute. They made sure I felt at home and were always available to help with any questions I had. I especially enjoyed their homemade Vietnamese coffee, it was delicious. The beds in the dormitory were comfortable and the wifi worked well. The hostel is also conveniently located in the center of Ninh Binh. I highly recommend this hostel for its friendly hosts and great services.

The value for money at Golden Bell Backpacker was really good. They provided us with everything we needed - a bottle of water, hair dryers, shampoo, body wash, and towels. The shower flow was great, and the internet connection was excellent. We seemed like we were getting a lot for what we paid!

It provided great value for money, had helpful owners, and offerednice and neat facilities.

Wonderful owners, gave great advice, clean facilities, close to attractions and restaurants, must try restaurant opposite. Highly recommend!

golden bell exceeded my expectations during my summer holidays in ninh binh. the hosts went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, even organizing a special new year's dinner for all the guests. their helpfulness and welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home.

uncomfortable plastic-covered beds

The owner and his wife at Golden Bell Backpacker were incredibly helpful and friendly right from the start. They even assisted us with renting a motorbike for sightseeing. the room was beautifully decorated with a modern and casual style, and the entire property was spotlessly clean. Despite some language barriers, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, including allowing us an early check-in at 6 am and providing helpful information. I highly recommend this hostel for a stay in the area. Cons: Nothing to be said.

Beds wide and comfy. Curtains around dorm beds. Helpful staff. Free water, towel, toothbrush. Central location. Friendly atmosphere. Translator used. Bike/motorbike rental. Delicious breakfast. Lovely host family. Taxi/bus tickets arranged. Close to restaurants and tourist spots. Quiet and well-lit rooms. Personal and unique experience. Train station drop-off. Great place to discover. Appreciate the family. At home feeling.

We had an enjoyable stay in this city. The location couldn't have been better; it was easy to reach attractions and restaurants. The hotel facilities were clean, and the staff was accommodating. We appreciated the parking and transportation services provided as well.

Nothing for me.

Had a great Christmas stay at a budget-friendly hostel in a very convenient location. The hostel provided clean and colorful accommodations and helpful staff. We rented motorcycles and explored the nearby attractions easily, which was one of the wonderful experiences that we had. we enjoyed the highly adjustable shower with a comfortable bed, and the city center was accessible via bus.

Some of the beds were only separated by curtains, and it was challenging to avoid accidentally hitting the person next to us. the doors locked early, and we were not provided with a key, making it tough if we wanted to come back late.

The location of the hostel was ideal for our New Year's trip, very close to lots of restaurants and tourist attractions. We also appreciated that the staff was very helpful, providing us with great recommendations for local activities. We enjoyed renting their affordable motorbikes and exploring the nearby countryside.

The atmosphere of the hostel was lacking and it felt more like a budget hotel than a hostel. There was no real common space or lounge area to relax in.

The highlight of my stay was definitely the buffet breakfast. It was a feast fit for kings! The spread was so extensive, it could rival a fancy brunch in the city. From fresh fruits to pastries, eggs to pancakes, there was something to please every taste bud. I couldn't resist going back for seconds, and maybe even thirds!

Communication barriers.

This accommodation is located in a very convenient spot, with attractions and restaurants nearby. the center is only a short walk away, and getting around is easy with motorbikes available. the private room was reasonably clean and the staff were friendly when communication was possible through Google translate.

The overall facilities are dated and not well-maintained, including the shared bathroom which had very little hot water.

I couldn't believe the value for money at Golden Bell Backpacker! The 4 bed dorm had everything we needed and was super clean. The location was perfect, close to attractions and restaurants, and the staff were cute and helpful.

More breakfast choices would have been nice, but everything else was great!

Can't fault the hotel.

We had a great time staying at this place. The location was perfect, right in the center so everything was close by. The hotel offered a paid airport shuttle service which was really convenient for us. The room amenities were top-notch, with air conditioning, a sitting area, and a dining table. We also appreciated the free Wi-Fi in the rooms, as well as the shared kitchen facility. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, making sure that we had everything we needed. we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay here.

We couldn't find any negative aspects about this place. We highly recommend it to everyone.
